WELCOME TO EBONY ELITE

A mentor platform to elevate young women of Black, Asian and Ethnic Origins trying to break into the tv and film industries in the UK.

WHO WE ARE

Ebony Elite is a mentor platform set up to elevate and empower young women of colour that are striving to break into the TV and Film industry in the UK.

Free from the formalities of corporate business but with strong established links in the industry, Ebony Elite will offer a mentorship programme to facilitate the first stages of the mentees career.

We work to unite young women trying to break into the industries with young professionals already prevailing in their craft. Offering monthly one to ones with an assigned mentor, as well as quarterly network and share sessions with producers, writers, directors and many more.

“This platform is strictly fuelled by hard work and passion. It is ignited by likeminded professionals, who want to offer their free time to help the next generation get ahead.”— Founder

MEET THE FORMER MENTEES

“Having a mentor has played a massive part in inspiring me and educating me about the direction I wanted to go in the media industry. As a creative there can be a lot of pressures. Having a mentor lets you know that you too can do really well and most importantly teaches you embrace your journey, whilst learning and creating things close to your heart. I really recommend anyone starting out in the TV or media industry to get a mentor!”

“Having a mentor just before I started to embark on my career journey was extremely helpful. However, now that I have a few more professional working years under my belt, I can truly comprehend how important it was to have a black female mentor. Setting aside the key basics she taught me, such as how to structure a CV, how to conduct myself in an interview etc. My mentor was an integral part in helping me navigate through an industry that largely consists of people who are the complete opposite to me and those from my diverse East London community.”

“Let’s work together to bridge the gap to a more diverse future in the TV & film industry.
